A WILD CR MEME APPEARS↴ Given that it's been a while since our last CR/plotting meme, this seemed well overdue! This post is where you talk about what you are looking for in character relationships, and then respond to other people's posts to plot! You can be as long winded or as brief if you like - as long as you communicate what you are interested in doing. New to this post is a 'Collective Objectives' section, which will be a toplevel below. This is for coordinating events or efforts that you want the input/organization of multiple characters on, making a big group log, or developing something have broader ramifications for the Carnival moving forward. There is a form provided below for your convenience, but you don't have to fill everything out! COLLECTIVE OBJECTIVES

As stated above, this is for coordinating events or efforts that you want the input/organization of multiple characters on, making a big group log, or developing something have broader ramifications for the Carnival moving forward. These can be anything from 'throw a party for x,' 'create a new attraction for the Carnival,' 'petition the cookhouse for better food,' or 'research more creative ways to not get fucked over by fae.'

Prince Poison Problem Solvers

Turning back into people isn't going to fix the tiny minor-itty bitty little petrification problems anyone who got hit by the Prince's poison got stuck with, unfortunately! The Ringmaster will be using her powers to grant the partly petrified the ability to move normally, but she won't be able to return them to normal instantly due to the difficulty of working with stone. Ginko and Peridot have both discussed the idea of addressing poison issues on the radios, but this is a more formal attempt to feel out who'd might be interested in their characters being part of an effort working towards a cure/providing moral support/being guinea pigs to make sure the remedy isn't worse.

Due to the nature of the poison, It'll likely need combined magical, chemical, and ~spiritual~ expertise on the job. Either way, it's going to take some work!

Junko Enoshima | Danganronpa

JUNKO ENOSHIMA | (disjunct) Canon: Dangan Ronpa (first game) Carnival Role: Make-up artist Length of Stay: A year, so far. Skills/Powers: Junko is the Ultimate Analyst, which means she can predict how things will fall into place almost effortlessly and sort of godmod her way through the world. However, being in Harvest practically nerfs this for her unless she tries and researches very hard! She can't predict beyond her world's limits; ergo, she cannot predict character's powers, routines, actions, personalities, due to the nature of the Carnival and how she doesn't understand the other worlds people come from, including this one, so her clear-cut defining of someone might be limited to personality cues. Anything beyond that is plotting and some severe charisma. Routine: Goes in for her job, goofs off for the rest of the day. Sometimes skips work. Current status in game: Waiting for the next phase of the game while wandering the empty carnival! Any current or future plans: None aside from the fact that she fully intends to cause chaos, if you want to plot with that. IC Assistance: If you want to be a Poor Unfortunate Soul lured into Junko's trap, by all means. Desired CR: Negative CR! False Positive CR! Positive CR! There's very little Junko can maintain in the middle, so keep that in mind! Shipping Preferences: Junky is spoken for via plotting! Yuya's gullible and big-hearted and cares a lot about making people happy so I can't deny I'm interested in seeing what happens with bouncing him off of Junko. I'd be totally up for CR in any direction based on how they handle each other on meeting, because his default state is to aim for positive CR with people unless they're an already-proven asshat.

Flowey | Undertale

FLOWEY | (wilt) Canon: Undertale Carnival Role: Bouncer/Performer for children. Length of Stay: He's going to try to stay as long as possible, no matter how much it means to update his contract. Especially getting all of his feelings back. Skills/Powers: YIKES. He can also clip through the ground as teleportation, but it's not as convenient as Sans. He has no Omega Flowey here, nor anything like that. He has the ability to REGAIN EMOTIONS, which I'm going to copy and paste a whole lot here. It's important. Routine: Bouncer whenever Sans or whoever's in charge tells him to. Does riddles and puppet shows for kids (and is very bad at it.) Current status in game: Waiting to get in! Any current or future plans: Flowey's contract is to regain his emotions one by one! He is going to try to trigger as many as he can as fast as he can, and he can do that with the help of YOUR CHARACTERS. IC Assistance: Flowey has to REGAIN EMOTIONS by communicating with other characters and experiencing things they are, or reactions to what they are doing. This is his literal Big Plot here, so as many threads as possible leading up to finally gaining Love and the form of Asriel back is the main goal for this naughty flower. Sora | (destiny_key) Canon: Kingdom Hearts Carnival Role: Patch/Fill-In Length of Stay: He's been here about 6 months IC Skills/Powers: A lot. Most of it stems from the Keyblade. He's an accomplished warrior and mage, despite not really looking like it. Listen, he has a really detailed app on his account, go look at that. Routine: Just sort of wanders around and see who needs help, mostly. Current status in game: PRETTY SICK and in the med tent due to the aftereffects of being under the Prince's control for (what was presumably) several days. Any current or future plans: Not really. Maybe more darkness stuff, and he'll be pretty messed up from the last plot for a bit, but nothing long term. Sora could be a huge influence on Flowey's regains given he's Sora. And Flowey can be a cheery Disney-like thing at first before revealing his true colors, in true Flowish fashion. He's the equivalent of not having a heart, so!

Herbert West | Re-Animator | cw: medical stuff? drug addictions?

Herbert West | (scientificist) Canon: Re-Animator Carnival Role: Medic Length of Stay: He's so new he's not even set foot in the Carnival yet. Skills/Powers: No magic, but he's good at bio-sciences, and obsessed with bringing back the dead. Routine: When he gets into the carnival, he's going to be in the medic tent at all...business? Hours? And everything outside that he'll be in his trailer doing experiments cramped in the kitchenette. Every couple of days he'll irritably show up in the cookhouse at random mealtimes. On this period of time off, he'll be going back and forth to determine what things of use there are in the medical tent. He doesn't sleep so.... Current status in game: Mostly he's been trapped by the Prince and handing out onions so he's not doing GREAT. Any current or future plans: If the people working on a cure are still doing that I'd love to have him help out! He'd be really psyched about that. I also need to get him into a brain position to want to learn magic properly, if anyone can like. Describe their methods to him. Hype him up about learning it. IC Assistance: Ok, so this is the drug content warning but. I can work it out FOR him without this but he's been in withdrawal for a couple of days now and he really wants to inject reagent again. If anyone plays a character with syringe knowledge that I can set stuff up with, this would help him not stab up his entire arm. Let me know. Desired CR: I love both positive and negative CR and I am very aware that considering the kind of dude Herbert is, he's going to attract a bunch of negative. Right now, because I've just started, I'm just looking for CR generally. Shipping Preferences: Sure, but it's. Difficult? To set up? I'll absolutely rp ships and sex and so forth but Herbert is. Here's someone who can continue describing his magic in nebulous ways that'll interest/frustrate/etc. Herbert--especially considering that logically speaking, some of Strange's magic just shouldn't work as well as it does in the carnival.

YUYA SAKAKI | (hippocarnival) Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V Carnival Role: Acrobat Length of Stay: Like 3 months now. Skills/Powers: He has an anti-fae warding spell, acrobatic fitness and training. That's basically it, he's pretty normal (now). Routine: That's more handwaving then I actually think about, uh. He practices his routines and talks to his friends and other carnival members daily. Usually visits their drop off locations a lot to get a feel for the audience so he can tailor his show to him, get into dumb trouble, visit the hot springs. Current status in game: In the process of murdering his best friend turned beast. :Db UH HE'S GONNA BE A MESS POST EVENT because this was actually in general awful and traumatizing, so he's going to cry on his close CR for a bit before he pulls himself back together. He'll be back to not 100% cheerful but at least enough to interact with people fairly quickly, because he has something that's going to keep him very focused going forward. Any current or future plans: He's going to start learning magic! Very slowly, but he realizes he's outmatched and can't just card games to protect his friends here, so magic seems like the best way to get some power to defend them. He's also going to try enjoying the hell out of winter vacay and dragging anyone who needs some cheer in their lives along. IC Assistance: Currently Strange is taking him under his wing for magic education, but he'll gladly ask all other people who've learned the trade for tips and suggestions. He doesn't really know what kind of magic he wants to learn except something to protect his friends (and preferably doesn't require murder to do that). Desired CR: I'd love to keep developing CR around his age since like half the carnival is teenagers anyway. o9 And I'd love to do more stuff with performance practice and acts with fellow showmen and acrobats. Other than that I'm open to pretty much anything, he's got a little negative CR and some growing close CR, so I'm cool with getting more development in either direction! FOSTER VAN DENEND | (criticallyfucked) Canon: Original Character Carnival Role: Roustabout Length of Stay: He's been here since the Matrix. Skills/Powers: Necromancer; one small but alarming memory alteration charm. Routine: He is wildly disorganised. He has no routine, and he frequently avoids people. Current status in game: He's actually had what could be considered a big 'change of heart' this event. He followed the rules surprisingly closely, he participated in (and won!) the Great Hunt... but after months and months of hating the Ringmaster and being deliberately difficult (and on more than one occasion, DELIBERATELY endangering the entire Carnival's collective lives), he is now very, very invested in doing her will. He was part of the Rose Retrieval and he actually went deeper into the changing manor in a bid to be... more useful. (Spoiler: he was not.) Any current or future plans: He will begin attempting to 'change himself' to suit the Ringmaster's needs and wishes, and to be 'useful.' IC Assistance: He's going to be in pretty poor shape, both physically and mentally, after this event. Physically, he hasn't eaten in over a week and he's been poisoned by the Prince's jail. Mentally, he... he is very 'any effort is pointless if there is no result in the end.' So. He's upset about his failure. Desired CR: Any! He's finally in a position to build more 'positive' CR, but unfortunately... he's still him. He's nasty and controlling and impossible to communicate with. So, even positive CR would have to navigate a lot of manipulative bullshit. Shipping Preferences: Okay. Here's the thing. ICly, Foster will literally never say no if you attempt to have sex with him. However, relationships are... repulsive to him. He'd flip. OOCly, I'm fine with shipping, I'm fine with sex, but like.... why. So, I dunno. "Why" kinda sums it up. Permissions/Opt Outs: Foster is sort of a walking trigger warning. Warnings for suicidal ideation, intense self-devaluation and objectification... he's delusional and not always engaged in the same reality as everyone else. He's got a degenerative brain condition, and he's a necromancer. He's also sort of visually gross--he's covered in mushrooms and he drools because he has dysphagia. Most of this can be opted out of as long as you let me know. Or let me know and I'll avoid you! Additional Comments: I'm super accommodating, just talk to me!

Tamaki Yotsuba | (puddingemote) Canon: IDOLiSH7 Carnival Role: Acrobat Length of Stay: He has roughly 6 months left. Skills/Powers: He can heal minor injuries and walk through walls. He also has an affinity for the Undead, meaning he can detect their presence and has a supernatural understanding of them. If you'd like to play with that, let me know! Routine: When they aren't visiting a world, Tamaki spends a lot of time in the tents practicing for his performances. He also eats a lot, so it's pretty easy to catch him at mealtimes or whenever he decides to get a snack (which is often). Current status in game: Tamaki's mental state rn is... NOT THE BEST lol. He helped kill Joker for the Hunt and most likely will have to restrain Doll and deal with her having a mental breakdown so he's just trying to hold it all together. And he still remembers dying in Portland as well so basically it's a mess. He'll probably deal with this by being even more aggressively apathetic than usual though. Any current or future plans: Right now not particularly, other than dealing with all this trauma. Maybe I can get enough AC points so Tamaki can learn more healing magic, which is something he would certainly like to do! IC Assistance: I'm not really sure what Tamaki would ask for from someone else right now, other than maybe related to the healing magic. He can help others with various tasks and such, though! Desired CR: More friends is always good. People Tamaki can be more antagonistic with would be cool! (I mean I know he's aggressively chill but it is possible to piss him off consistently and thoroughly.) Shipping Preferences: Tamaki is taken atm, incredibly enough! JONATHAN STRANGE | (kingsroads) Canon: Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell Carnival Role: Magician & mercenary Length of Stay: he's been here since December 2016, hell if I know how much that translates to in game time. Skills/Powers: bullshit magic that works as the plot demands. It's mostly elemental, though Strange has other dumb tricks like scrying, limited transfiguration, travel via reflections, weather magic, more dumb tricks with mirrors, and raising the dead that one time, let's not talk about that last one. Also, he can turn into smoke. thanks, Portland. Routine: Some variation of practices magic in the big top, practices stabbing things in the training ground, is a big ol'nerd who reads boring academic books for fun, eats all the eggs in the cookhouse, gets in everybody's way, etc. His sleep schedule's fucked to hell and back so Strange can be found around the carnival at various hours. Current status in game: so the manor was FUN. And by fun I mean Strange ran into his friend, his wife, and his enemy on fourth wall day, drugged a child and a skeleton shortly after fourth wall day, and is currently stabbing another child in the hunt log. his current status in game is "one bad day away from being a full blown alcoholic but trying his hardest to repress it and pretend everything's fine." Any current or future plans: trying not to become a full blown alcoholic? Strange's main future plan right now is try and refine the magic he uses to break enchantments because the best way to deal with things is to not deal with them and instead throw yourself into work. SO HEY, who wants to get magically mind-whammied for the greater good, what do you mean nobody's taking him up on his offer. and considering that his last two successful attempts at breaking spells involved kisses, Strange is pretty solid in his belief that this is a thing he can do. so I suppose 'future plans' are 'continue being an embarrassment to the state of english magic' IC Assistance: Strange doesn't really need anything in his life right now aside from maybe needing to talk to someone about things. HOWEVER, if your character wants to learn about magic or the fae, then Strange will happily talk their ear off about both subjects. Desired CR: Strange is a goddamn terror that's won over a lot of people by the fact that he's a goddamn terror with a nice personality. I'd love for some negative cr or at least someone to call him out on the fact that he's an arrogant asshole who can occasionally be a headache to deal with. Shipping Preferences: nada! Strange is married as HELL to his wife Arabella, who's not here (but she's so pretty and she's so nice and she's super sensible and smart and did he tell you just how pretty she is like his wife is smoking hot y'all and she's the best and blah blah blah) Permissions/Opt Outs: nothing really! though, Strange doesn't believe in doors and usually goes to places via traveling through mirrors or (now that he can do it) sneaking in under cracks via smoke. When Foster stops being fucked up, he now has a pilfered book about fae and an interest IN them.

He's also actually interested in developing his magical range and prowess, and he remembers Strange as not sucking too hard. He wants to be useful, you see. (He was properly shamed by seeing Childermass in action.)

Their CR might turn negative, or it might not, but now that I'm no longer seriously ill all the time, I... won't be so chronically dropping threads and we can actually find out!

SANS THE SKELETON | (osteothropy) Canon: Undertale Carnival Role: The Warden Length of Stay: Ending his 3rd year shortly. Skills/Powers: A high level of magical proficiency, scientific knowledge of physics and physics-based applications of magic, general secret smart guy, observant, can conjure magical weapons (mostly bones and laser dogs), can teleport, can create pocket dimensions, create portals through walls, manipulate physical forces like gravity, angelic magic which lets him summon wings and holy weapons, can radiate an angelic aura, the ability to sense when people are fated to die in the near future, can summon a small scarab beetle daemon, can transform into a giant skeleton wolf, his scorpion tail's poison turns people to stone, and also he is a force of chaos while playing party games. Routine: Despite outward appearances, Sans has come to take his job as Warden pretty seriously, which means that when it's required he works long hours and spends much of the night keeping watch and remaining accessible. During performance weeks his schedule has him going to sleep around 6AM and waking up at 11AM. However, he will still happily take naps during slow periods whenever he can sneak them in. His ability to teleport means that he can cover a lot of ground while visually remaining stationary, so it's not uncommon to see him teleporting around the carnival in his lawn chair. He also has three skeleton dogs that patrol with him, with whom he shares a spiritual connection. This means that you can sort of communicate with him through his dogs if you find them. Otherwise, he likes to take it easy. Current status in game: Sans got his name stolen by the Prince, which totally eradicated his personality and sense of identity while it was gone. Now that it'll be back, he's more or less back to his regular self... OR IS HE. The problem with Sans is that you may never know. There's bound to be lingering scars from the experience. He's still being Warden, though, despite the fact that he'll probably be in recovery for the next few weeks due to poison, exhaustion, and general mental abuse. Any current or future plans: Desperately trying to avoid heavy drinking while also super wanting to escape reality for a while. His plans for the next little bit is mostly just trying to hold the course. He's got a few people to apologize to. IC Assistance: I really, really want to give Sans the opportunity to form deeper bonds with people, because he's sort of intentionally let himself mostly be an outsider for a long time. Damn if he doesn't need people he can actually talk to. Desired CR: I'd like Sans to get to know some of his new employees, AKA those who are joining the security team. He's probably going to be trying to do some general training exercises once he's healed up a bit. And by "do exercises" I do mean "watch his trainees do exercises." Shipping Preferences: This is a tough one with Sans because he's got a lot of emotional baggage and is also pretty asexual, so he doesn't really make himself easily available for this kind of thing, and his version of "romance" isn't going to be very traditional looking. All the same, he could benefit from close companionship - he's not very romantic in the standard sense, but it would still mean basically the same thing to him. Rita Mordio | Tales of Vesperia

RITA MORDIO | (anti_nonsense) Canon: Tales of Vesperia Carnival Role: Lighting/SFX Tech (+ maybe mercenary soon?) Length of Stay: in-game since March (Alola event) Skills/Powers: Skilled with offensive elemental magic, technology, math and physics, nerdy stuff like that. Routine: Spends a lot of time reading or compiling notes in her trailer, can be found practicing magic in the training grounds or by the lake, or tinkering with various machines available to engineering workers. Sometimes she even does her job, and if you're a performer of some kind, you might want to coordinate with her for your act. Current status in game: After Heartstone, Rita will be newly revived from a dead state and recovering from the petrifying soul poison. So, not the greatest condition, but that'll probably give her a good reason to rely on other people for a change. Any current or future plans: After the event, things that will be happening with Rita include: ► Getting bedrest, eating some actual food, maybe getting some medical help ► Helping with the anti-venom developing team? Rita's a chemist mage, and may be able to contribute despite her condition. It'd also be nice to get her interacting with other science nerds! ► Rita is writing a book about blastia (magic technology from her world). Wanna see her manuscript, either to critique or to learn something about wacky otherworld magic? ► Catching up with her CR, people who might've worried about her while she was in jail and/or dead, people she might have fucked up while being a crazy bird beast, etc ► Meeting newbies! Sorry she was in jail / being a bird when you came in, but let's hang out now! ► Winter funtimes are ahead! Rita is anti-fun until someone either drags her along or tricks her into enjoying herself. Maybe your character's up for it? IC Assistance: ► Rita likes golems a lot, and would like to try building some in the carnival. Maybe your character can help! Or encourage her! Or discourage her! ► Help this girl eat, she hates cooking and now she's sick and recovering, so she's even less inclined to get off her ass and make something. ► While recovering, she might need some not-too-strenuous activities to keep her occupied. Maybe your character has some books or a hobby they can share with her? Hell, even just bringing over tea and snacks and getting her to sit still and chat is better than letting her go out and hurt herself. Desired CR: ► New CR in general! Current status in game: Trying his hardest to talk everybody through their problems while trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. Tyki Mikk | (prazerbutterfly) Canon: D.Gray-man Carnival Role: Magician/Conman Length of Stay: Newbie. While it has been three months it has only IC been ONE MONTH for Tyki. (Day 145) Skills/Powers: Tyki is essentially a powerhouse but the carnival rules keep him essentially tame. His Power to Choose is his main ability and by far the most dangerous. As explained by Tyki himself, the man is able to chose what he wishes to touch and by default what he doesn’t wish to touch. This includes walking on air and water or into walls and anything else that he can defy by choosing not to touch it. The defensive reaction to this ability is that this makes him immune to most damage. In Lost Carnival this defensive means has been powercapped so that an intent to attack will go through unhindered. His power is especially deadly when he uses it to reach into the bodies of others to either damage their internal organs or implant foreign objects into them. The only thing allowed to touch him without his permission is Innocence. My application is here for a more comprehensive list of his other abilities and skills. He's rather good at poker and hand to hand combat. Routine: Tyki will sleep in most of the morning unless he is prompted to be up at an early hour. From there he will get dressed and then head outside. He'll generally take a stroll past Childermass' trailer for no good reason at all and then the big top in case Joker is around. From there Brunch/Breakfast right after or Lunch a few hours later. After that he has no actual routine unless it is performance week. If it is he'll find a comfortable spot to test out new sorts of bondage for his performance, be near his water tank or hanging out in the Big Top. Off weeks are spent just wandering around and finding something to do/keep from being bored. Otherwise he'll find places to nap like trees/high places aka Lambert's training grounds or highwire nets/comfortable spots/hanging structures. Dinner follows later in the evening followed by a glass of wine and some reading. He is a night owl by trade and will not return to his trailer until sometime after midnight. This is what his basic routine will be once it is actually established. Current status in game: See that up there in the routine section? COMPLETELY IGNORE THAT NOW. Tyki has gone through a recent enchantment after fucking up significantly. He's a slight bit traumatized and might be isolating himself when/if he has nothing to do. He has an excellent poker face and will be utilizing it in order to ensure people he is perfectly fine. If spotted he'll act normally with a cheerful disposition. He's also going to be coming down from the Prince's poison along with the petrification on his back he's hiding under his shirt. Expect a decent and long recovery in the meantime. Any current or future plans: When the Winter Vacay starts he will be indulging in that in order to lift his mood. This will bring him out of hiding if someone doesn't do it sooner. Also I might be fitting him with a new spell soon that might have to do with tentacles. It's okay. They are just limbs. Nothing to see here. IC Assistance: Nothing at the momentunless you want to help him peel a lot of potatoes. Desired CR: Anything! I am open to negative or positive CR. He could use a few more friends but that generally will come naturally. It's okay to be wary of this antagonist even if he's relatively tame atm. Any current or future plans: He's going to sleep a lot... COMMANDER SYLRYA | (chronosynthesis) Canon: Guild Wars 2 Carnival Role: bouncer/mercenary Length of Stay: A MONTH Skills/Powers: He's a Mesmer which means he has a bunch of illusion and trickery based magic abilities. He's also a plant person, and thus can influence plant growth and like. Sense things about them. They don't have much to say but they have a lot of personality. He also has a dangerous magic-amplifying stone that theoretically anybody can use but good luck getting him to let you. Routine: Training, do his jobs, nerd about about magic with people, etc. He's really easy to pull off routine, however, since he doesn't have a lot of other focus given how separated he is from what he usually does. Current status in game: He helped steal a rose it was awesome. Emotionally he's stable, this isn't much more haphazard than the state of things back home but he is more aware that he really needs to try not to die here, now. Any current or future plans: Keep getting used to carnival life, honestly. IC Assistance: He's really trying to get to know more about really powerful magic, collecting information he can hopefully take back to more clever people that they can apply to the state of their world before it blows up. Desired CR: Friends would be nice. He's getting well acquainted with the nightrunners but I'd love to build up CR with people in other departments! People who shake up his composure or just don't completely jive with him are also great, also people who don't click at all because he's a little self-righteous about things like morality. Skills/Powers: > Stage 1 Daemon Summoning ('Hallucination' Level) > Empathy (For which there is a Info + Notifier post) > Above normal Pain Tolerance; she has a capacity for pain that exceeds even the likes of Gongenzaka > In general for her age, she's far more aware of 'reality' than other kids would be-she's also fairly skilled at keeping herself calm, provided there isn't too much outside emotional stimulus Routine: Reira's routine goes relatively clockwork-she's used to taking orders for every minute of her life, so even without that present, she subconsciously applies that form of 'order'. After waking up, she begins the day with errands for the Menagerie-feeding, cleaning, etc. If Ginko has more work for her, she sticks around, but otherwise from there it depends on the location; since Reira will be suspended from thievery at best however, the time she'd have typically used in each location for theft will be reduced to casual exploration of the setting. That said, during such 'free time', she tends to either wander around the Carnival in search of some other task to do (IE; helping to clean up some trash, or trying her hand at the obstacle course's 'easy' mode), or simply take time to sit with the more 'domestic' of the Menagerie animals. Reira attends the meals at pretty much an 'on-the-dot' time each day, three times a day. Bedtime is pretty similar-she's really routined. Current status in game: Reira's on a pretty rocky cliff right now; she was among those who outright broke the rules of Curfew and was punished by way of a trip to the 'beneath' and some heavy manticore posioning...which she's still recovering from. As such, she's effectively on Carnival-Grounds 'house arrest', and from her perspective she's intending to follow any orders and rules no matter what. Any current or future plans: Some of Reira's plans are up in the air since depending on a talk with her supervisor (the Acquisitioner, aka Childermass), she'll either be in a more determined state of mind, or a more depressed one-basically the difference of having some hope versus feeling even more like she fucked up royally (which. She did, but she's also accepted this to an extent that's pretty remarkable for her age.) THAT SAID. Future plans beyond this are a mix of focuses-Reira's going to still be recovering from her illness first off, so lots of frowny faces from her trailer, or general bleariness in the cookhouse. She'll possibly be trying to get control of a gas-body, depending on if her reward request is considered acceptable. Expect Danny-Phantom levels of 'things passing through the body' woes. IC Assistance: I guess outside the obvious illness matter, she might need a particular sort of sit down depending on how post event chats go? On the one hand, she might end up feeling more as though 'everything' is her fault which....already at this point she's sort of putting too much blame on herself there, even if she's managed to find a decent way to handle that. On the other, she'll protentially be seeking out people to either help her with that gas body issue, or even just for matters like learning how to...Be a kid. She's kind of bad at acting her age, after all. Desired CR: GEE...UH.....I mean coworker CR is A+ but I guess I'm a blank board because of that. Skills/Powers: > Shapeshifting; Hummingbird (Able to take the form of a small hummingbird) > Demonic Fire Magic; various techniques focused on the use of a violet-orange flame, which carries no true heat (and cannot physically burn), but instead saps energy of spiritual, physical, and occasionally magical sort. > Hell-Fire Magic; techniques of a similar vein, focused on the use of a brilliant red flame, which carries such heat that it can burn through metal and evaporate water. Difficult to extinquish, it uses a lot of energy to burn. > Slightly Okay at Archery > Impressively fast, and agile while airborne, in part due to her various hummingbird related changes. > GUD AT SEWING AND DESIGN??? > She's also a photographer. This doesn't come up a lot any more. Routine: Being the only one the Carnival can rely on when it comes to design and costuming these days (unless one counts her assistant), Carly runs a rather hectic life. As soon as she's up, she has breakfast-which includes a small 'caffine' type phoenix fruit-and from there if her pokemon has been fed, she's immediately off to the Wardrobe tent. From there it'll be a matter of sorting out supplies they need, working on designs they will require for current shows, and also creating actual costumes. Very often, some of these end up created 'last minute'-Carly prefers to make sure the outfits for the stage suit both the performer and the audience, see. She tends to fall asleep in there. During the off-days she has on location, she tends to try studying where they are in order to get notes for costumes. Off-location, spare time is used to finally relax, maybe socialize...or maybe practice magic. And Shadowspeak. Current status in game: Carly is in a traumatically induced state of 'cold' right now-she doesn't like what she's done here, and she doesn't like what she's doing, but the most she can really do is do what's best for the Carnival-which in this case includes killing...people. She'll have the same attitude while fighting the Prince-a cold, very well controlled face, and a far less controlled set of fires suffice to say. The aftermath is going to be a mess. She's past the crying stage, but that just means the quiet, chilly stage of trying to cope is next. Any current or future plans: Aside from dealing with emotional traumas, Carly has two things to focus on; first, once she's ~refurbished~ this bow that she received from the Prince, Carly intends to practice using it with arrows created from her fire. It'll take some time, and she has to improve her archery in general as well, but she feels that if she's going to take anything from this, it might as well be turning what was the Prince's spit in their face toward something of use. On the other hand however, she has a book she stole from the Count of Crow's manor-it's written in Shadowspeak, so she's working to try and figure out how to read the language so as to properly use the thing. IC Assistance: Naturally, Carly could use a hand for both archery and shadowspeak stuff. General magic is also good-but the BIGGEST thing, go figure, is just her tailoring deal. She has a lot to do! Every bit of help counts. Desired CR: She could probably use more people that will sit her down and make her Be Calm and Talk About Problems... 9S | (dressedtothe) Canon: NieR: Automata Carnival Role: reluctant Repairman/enthusiastic Scout Length of Stay: Since Greysol Skills/Powers: He's an android ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ok but for reals he's a Scanner android, which means he can detect lifeforms in his immediate area as well as make area maps. His true speciality is hacking, which allows him to analyse tech as well as control it. Usually he just blows things up. Hilariously, this makes him really bad at actually repairing things that are less technologically advanced than he is. He can also fight (badly, by android standards) which mostly involves throwing his sword at things and using a magnetic field to essentially telekinetically wield it. Routine: Going out to talk with people, observing people at the training grounds while avoiding being dragged into training, avoiding Peridot and other gems in general... Current status in game: Lots of things Happened and he's going to be less chipper and more grumpy than usual. He's still willing to help anyone who needs it, but he'll also be taking it easy after overheating and getting burned during the final Hunt. Any current or future plans: I don't have much set in stone (ha) right now, but looking at him discovering that he is physically unable to attack a human some time in the future. IC Assistance: i dunno maybe something needs to be done about that raging gem specism he's got right now especially with more gems joining the carnival Desired CR: He could use more friends because he sure came close to absolutely losing it because nearly everyone he cares more about in the Carnival came close to beefing it. I'm actually really into more talking about their species/humans since 9S actually sees Syr as like, equal level to him, but androids as below humans, but Syr definitely sees Sylvari and human as equal to each other/a bunch of other races so like, there's a total disconnect that would be fun to explore.

Also he's on team 'don't judge an entire race of people oh my god' but idk how valuable his opinion of that even is to 9S.

That aside they should also just chill because nightrunners went through A Lot last event, 9S can discover the wonders of snow while Syrlya makes faces.

She may also be found taking a nap in the trailer she shares with Sans, or sometimes in Peridot and Lapis's trailer, or, like, more or less anywhere? She can and will take a nap pretty much anywhere there's a surface to nap on. She practices showmanship for her wrestling nonsense in the big top sometimes, and can also often be found in the cookhouse, putting objectively horrible combinations of food in her mouth, or playing carnival games, if there are new shitty prizes going that she doesn't have one of yet. (Her living space is a mess of hideous chalkware dogs, novelty giant foam hands, and rasta bananas.) Current status in game: She just got back from an extended leave of absence and is pretty excited to see everyone but kind of alarmed by what she seems to have missed. Any current or future plans: Nothing in particular besides catching up with existing CR! Skills/Powers: Kills monsters good, can cast simple gesture-based combat spells, can brew some wicked potions and some wicked hooch. More detail on his canon abilities are in his app. He's also learned how to turn himself into a dragon(!) and summon his daemon, an animal representation of his soul. Routine: When he's at the Carnival, Lambert can generally be found at the training yard in the mornings, either practicing his skills, supervising nightrunners practicing, or just working out in general. He has set up a paddock for his Mudsdale, Pig, and her hellspawn Butcher by the lakeside, and he usually spends at least an hour a day riding her around the lake to stretch her legs. He has a lab shared with Sans where he makes booze and potions, and he usually practices his shapeshifting at the hot springs or in the forest, since it requires getting naked and some people have a problem with that. Current status in game: He was a pig and then he got murderdead (he'll get better, it's temporary). After that, he'll mostly be spending time recovering from that experience. Any current or future plans: ► Work towards fixing being part rock, that shit isn't cool. ► Physical therapy; he hates being part rock but has to live with it, so he'll be working on trying to maintain mobility by keeping up with the exercise, though he will be too tired/worn out to keep that up for long. ► Meet-n'-Greet with the new nightrunners. ► Take a goddamn vacation. ► Bonding over alcohol with other irresponsible adults, only if it happens while he's still rock'd he can't even really participate, but he'll happily enable drunkenness in some kind of schadenfreude. ► Network shitposting because there's nothing better to do. ► Bitching about the cold whenever they hit their winter vacation. IC Assistance: His effort for the next little bit will mostly be devoted to recovery and the search for a fix, so that'll be his main focus. Desired CR: Lambert could stand to broaden out his CR base, so anything is good! Since he's gonna be spending a lot of time not so active himself, I'm toying with the idea of him possibly mentoring/teaching people in alchemy, simple magic, monster killing, or even general tips on swordsmanship if your character would for some reason be into getting bossed around by a pottymouthed jerk??? He wouldn't be likely to initiate this himself because he doesn't think of himself as a teacher, so I'm really into exploring the possibility of someone seeking him out. SUSAN | (wild_magic) Canon: D&D OC (Forgotten Realms) Carnival Role: Talker/Patch/Shill Length of Stay: ~6 months (since game start) Skills/Powers: So Susan is a very powerful magic user, mostly using offensive magic (fire and lightning primarily), with a random spattering of other skills mixed in there. He also is pretty good at negotiation and whatnot, when he tries to be. Routine: Susan loves people and loves talking, and he is always up for new things. This means he's basically anywhere and everywhere, as he loves to explore and check things out and chat people up. He particularly likes the natural areas near the lake, though, and spends a lot of free time there or visiting the animals in the menagerie. Current status in game: Well he was in jail for a while and that sucked. Then he got turned into a smol dragon and that also sucked, especially the part where he died. He's not going to be faring too well at first with all of that, although hopefully once he's worked past the immediate trauma of it he'll be more back to normal. Any current or future plans: First things first, he's going to apologize to the Ringmaster for being a shit before, but after that... I have basically no plans. IC Assistance: Susan and Lauren are looking for people to maybe help Susan with his magic, since it's a bit unpredictable, but other than that I can't think of anything specific. Desired CR: Friends! GINKO | (dontpokethat) Canon: Mushi-shi Carnival Role: Animal Keeper Length of Stay: Coming up on two years! Skills/Powers: Wilderness survival, medicine with a focus on herbology, very specialized paranormal biology??? And night vision. Plus a simple spell for purging illness, a magical affinity for plants, and working gills. Routine: Ginko spends most of his time in the menagerie, but has also been spending increasingly more time hanging around the medical tent, since the medical department is so understaffed and he’s nosy. He also likes to hang around the lake, and usually gets up early. When he goes to sleep varies wildly from day to day. Current status in game: Ginko is kind of exhausted and upset after everything with the Prince, but trying very hard to focus on helping those who were poisoned and handling the aftermath in general. He’s fine, this is fine. Any current or future plans: Well at the moment all I know for sure is that he’s gonna have some RELATIONSHIP DRAMA coming up, and he’s gonna be helping with poison treatment efforts. IC Assistance: He’d appreciate help with the poison situation, but that’s mostly it (except for assorted emotional problems that he… absolutely would not accept help with from anyone he didn’t know VERY well). Desired CR: GET THIS GUY MORE FRIENDS, he could always use those. Negative CR is also appreciated, though much harder to get with him. He’s also always up for adopting kids and teenagers. Current status in game: Probably still has some LINGERING ANGER over the Prince’s bullshit, but physically probably ok?? She somehow managed not to get kidnapped and didn't kill anyone she knew (just someone she didn't, oops) so she's better off than a lot of people. Any current or future plans: Eventually, she wants to look into getting shifted over to being a scout, but, in the meantime, that’s just gonna mean continuing to keep working and proving that she can handle a potentially more dangerous job. Ichigo Kurosaki | (eclipsingblade) Canon: Bleach Carnival Role: Bouncer/Mercenary Length of Stay: The freshest of fresh noobs. Skills/Powers: As the primary protagonist Ichigo can do basically everything. No not really. He can sense ghosts/spirits, has a whole lot of ridiculous endurance and strength, and ..well. All this bullshit. All the shinigami stuff however is halved thanks to Zangetsu having wandered off. Routine: He does his job with much resentment, but he does it and he's not bad at it. If something needs guarding he'll guard it - and it's not hard to find him. He's prompt at mealtimes (usually) and in the future will likely be able to be found at that wonderful little practice arena, angrily beating on dummies. Current status in game: Thanks to having the distinct impression Zangetsu's flounced off to live his own life, leaving himself and his entire world now PRETTY MUCH SERIOUSLY IN TROUBLE, Ichigo is full of annoyance and frustration and less than pleasantry, and this isn't even weighing in on all the mistrust issues the whole brainwashing thing has dredged up. He's not a happy camper. Any current or future plans: My current goals are ... nonexistant, he's too new. I am itchy to get changes started but workin' on those triggers to get them bit by bit. IC Assistance: He's going to have a whole lot of questions about fae, and more importantly how to murder the ever loving pixie dust out of them.
