A WILD CR MEME APPEARS↴

Given that it's been a while since our last CR/plotting meme, this seemed well overdue!

This post is where you talk about what you are looking for in character relationships, and then respond to other people's posts to plot! You can be as long winded or as brief if you like - as long as you communicate what you are interested in doing.

New to this post is a 'Collective Objectives' section, which will be a toplevel below. This is for coordinating events or efforts that you want the input/organization of multiple characters on, making a big group log, or developing something have broader ramifications for the Carnival moving forward.

There is a form provided below for your convenience, but you don't have to fill everything out! It just needs to be enough information to give your fellow players an idea of what they have to work with.

Carnival Role: Lighting/SFX Tech (+ maybe mercenary soon?)
Length of Stay: in-game since March (Alola event)
Skills/Powers:
Skilled with offensive elemental magic, technology, math and physics, nerdy stuff like that.
Routine:
Spends a lot of time reading or compiling notes in her trailer, can be found practicing magic in the training grounds or by the lake, or tinkering with various machines available to engineering workers. Sometimes she even does her job, and if you're a performer of some kind, you might want to coordinate with her for your act.
Current status in game:
After Heartstone, Rita will be newly revived from a dead state and recovering from the petrifying soul poison. So, not the greatest condition, but that'll probably give her a good reason to rely on other people for a change.
Any current or future plans:
After the event, things that will be happening with Rita include:
► Getting bedrest, eating some actual food, maybe getting some medical help
► Helping with the anti-venom developing team? Rita's a chemist mage, and may be able to contribute despite her condition. It'd also be nice to get her interacting with other science nerds!
► Rita is writing a book about blastia (magic technology from her world). Wanna see her manuscript, either to critique or to learn something about wacky otherworld magic?
► Catching up with her CR, people who might've worried about her while she was in jail and/or dead, people she might have fucked up while being a crazy bird beast, etc
► Meeting newbies! Sorry she was in jail / being a bird when you came in, but let's hang out now!
► Winter funtimes are ahead! Rita is anti-fun until someone either drags her along or tricks her into enjoying herself. Maybe your character's up for it?
IC Assistance:
► Rita likes golems a lot, and would like to try building some in the carnival. Maybe your character can help! Or encourage her! Or discourage her!
► Help this girl eat, she hates cooking and now she's sick and recovering, so she's even less inclined to get off her ass and make something.
► While recovering, she might need some not-too-strenuous activities to keep her occupied. Maybe your character has some books or a hobby they can share with her? Hell, even just bringing over tea and snacks and getting her to sit still and chat is better than letting her go out and hurt herself.
Desired CR:
► New CR in general! I love Rita's current CR a lot, but I want to branch out more with her.
► Anyone with magic traits, items, or skills? Rita's automatically interested in you!
► Is your character an idiot, a loudmouth, or an obnoxiously friendly person? They'll probably drive Rita nuts, but that can be fun CR!
Shipping Preferences:
Smut's a hard no, but I don't mind cute flirty fluff or things that might give Rita the dokidokis.

Permissions here! Only thing of note on Rita's side is her third eye ability, which allows her to perceive magic. Feel free to let me know if you'd like / not like Rita to notice something magical about your character!

If you are game for it I'd love to get Peridot up in her grill. Because she totally would be, out of concern, because she's her boss whether you VIEW HER THAT WAY OR NOT, RITA!!

Also Peridot's going to be working on the cure project as well so. She'll probably want to pick Rita's brain about that.

ALSO ALSO please tell her about your crazy magic-tech from your homeworld, she'll be super intrigued.

They have so much to talk about tho. 9S will be more easily bullied into doing things for her while she's recovering even tho he's injured too

And YEP there will be lots of talking to be had, of varying degrees of awkwardness. Rita will probably feel bad about messing him up (sorry for biting you and overheating your systems and giving you gross melty skin) and try to repair as much of him as she can.

Papyrus is a loud, obnoxiously friendly person with a ymmv intelligence! He also feels a little bad for not making that really cool dropkick, and so letting her get poisoned. Especially since another team of people beat him and Scout to talking to the house.

So if Rita would demand he help her with chores around the place, or bringing books or hobbies and stuff, he'd absolutely do it.

YEAH I would love to get these two hanging out. Since Papyrus made a visible attempt to save her, Rita will be a lot less bothered by him being a spooky skeleton and a little more open minded toward him. And she could definitely use some books and stuff and will gladly boss him around.

Thank goodness for that, it would be hard to do chores if she's asking about life as a skeleton instead of mentioning chores. He's very willing to help, and equally willing to announce how willing to help he is!

too bad the book selection is still... so-so. they need to bug the acquisitioner into acquiring more

i feel like being in jail together and feeding off each other being as stubborn assholes as they could be the whole way (did rita judge him for accepting onions, because he's like listen, i just burned way more magic than you) is the kind of thing that really connects people, so it would definitely be nice for them to kind of mutually process the experience and/or mutually try to ignore it ever happened, depending. :|a

outside of that, i guess i'd just like to keep developing he cr with lambert and seeing where it goes! lambert will be a little sad they didn't get to blow anything up with the blastia, but it was a good try. :]

Actually, she probably won't judge. Refusing was a matter of personal pride (and not wanting to get poisoned more) but she wouldn't expect anyone to do the same. and she stuffed her face with cakes at the ball just before getting captured, so she probably just wasn't as hungry as some people...

BUT YEAH this was a pretty unique experience and I don't think Rita would shy away too much from talking about it, because even though she's kind of traumatized, she's coming out with an even stronger resolve to not be a bystander and FIGHT, and maybe lambert would understand, being a stubborn fighty jerk himself.
