A WILD CR MEME APPEARS↴ Given that it's been a while since our last CR/plotting meme, this seemed well overdue! This post is where you talk about what you are looking for in character relationships, and then respond to other people's posts to plot! You can be as long winded or as brief if you like - as long as you communicate what you are interested in doing. New to this post is a 'Collective Objectives' section, which will be a toplevel below. This is for coordinating events or efforts that you want the input/organization of multiple characters on, making a big group log, or developing something have broader ramifications for the Carnival moving forward. There is a form provided below for your convenience, but you don't have to fill everything out! It just needs to be enough information to give your fellow players an idea of what they have to work with. CHARACTER NAME | ( journalname)Canon: (What canon are they from?) Carnival Role: (What is their job? Maybe your characters could be working together.) Length of Stay: (Are they new, a veteran, or somewhere in between?) Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V
Carnival Role: Acrobat
Length of Stay: Like 3 months now.
Skills/Powers: He has an anti-fae warding spell, acrobatic fitness and training. That's basically it, he's pretty normal (now).
Routine: That's more handwaving then I actually think about, uh. He practices his routines and talks to his friends and other carnival members daily. Usually visits their drop off locations a lot to get a feel for the audience so he can tailor his show to him, get into dumb trouble, visit the hot springs.
Current status in game: In the process of murdering his best friend turned beast. :Db UH HE'S GONNA BE A MESS POST EVENT because this was actually in general awful and traumatizing, so he's going to cry on his close CR for a bit before he pulls himself back together.
He'll be back to not 100% cheerful but at least enough to interact with people fairly quickly, because he has something that's going to keep him very focused going forward.
Any current or future plans: He's going to start learning magic! Very slowly, but he realizes he's outmatched and can't just card games to protect his friends here, so magic seems like the best way to get some power to defend them.
He's also going to try enjoying the hell out of winter vacay and dragging anyone who needs some cheer in their lives along.
IC Assistance: Currently Strange is taking him under his wing for magic education, but he'll gladly ask all other people who've learned the trade for tips and suggestions. He doesn't really know what kind of magic he wants to learn except something to protect his friends (and preferably doesn't require murder to do that).
Desired CR: I'd love to keep developing CR around his age since like half the carnival is teenagers anyway. o9 And I'd love to do more stuff with performance practice and acts with fellow showmen and acrobats. Other than that I'm open to pretty much anything, he's got a little negative CR and some growing close CR, so I'm cool with getting more development in either direction!
Shipping Preferences: I'm not against but I am hella picky about serious shipping, this is always a 'let's talk about it but I tend to want to see where things go first'! Obviously because Yuya is 14 this is only open to teenagers and keeping it at a PG-13 level. :|b
Permissions/Opt Outs: Eeh none in particular?

He also might be a bit injured after getting fried by Rita and he can totally sympathise with I Just Murdered My Friend even if 9S did it without hesitation oops.

IT'S OKAY Yuya doesn't blame anyone who didn't hesitate since, like, they got no choice. It doesn't placate him either tho so mostly he'll try not to actively think about it because the justification doesn't make him feel any less guilty or upset by it. But he'll happily talk about how important their friends are that they would go that far to save them (traumatize your friends to save their lives!!).
