A WILD CR MEME APPEARS↴ Given that it's been a while since our last CR/plotting meme, this seemed well overdue! This post is where you talk about what you are looking for in character relationships, and then respond to other people's posts to plot! You can be as long winded or as brief if you like - as long as you communicate what you are interested in doing. New to this post is a 'Collective Objectives' section, which will be a toplevel below. This is for coordinating events or efforts that you want the input/organization of multiple characters on, making a big group log, or developing something have broader ramifications for the Carnival moving forward. There is a form provided below for your convenience, but you don't have to fill everything out! It just needs to be enough information to give your fellow players an idea of what they have to work with. CHARACTER NAME | ( journalname)Canon: (What canon are they from?) Carnival Role: (What is their job? Maybe your characters could be working together.) Length of Stay: (Are they new, a veteran, or somewhere in between?) Skills/Powers: (Self-explanatory; a concise summary of their powers and a link to their IC info page is probably more than enough. ) Routine: (Does your character have a regular schedule people can bump into them easily? A place they like to hang out? Are they a night owl or an early bird?) Current status in game: (What they've been up to recently, their mental state, and any recent important events or developments.) He's from a King Papyrus timeline (with some not strictly game canon but regrettably plausible post-phone call content), and he recently, kinda, killed somebody? To save their life, in roundabout ways, but still. Plus there's this whole thing where he and Sans have been weird and not-talking about their erased-from-reality dad. Skele friend has some things going on.
So let's talk about how to decorate this trailer!! (forced smile intensifies)

Flowey has regained on start both pettiness and antagonism, to keep him his canon-ish personality along with the sobriety of being post-game, y'know, where he pops up to tell the player/Chara?? to leave everyone alone because they're all happy and living their lives now.
Even when remembering talking about the Flowey fanclub, Flowey seemed kind of... idk, not necessarily regretful but something about Papyrus. Once he regains guilt, he's going to feel especially terrible towards the Undertale cast for being the most undeserving person to be post-pacifist.
He'll let Papyrus decorate! In fact, Flowey might be hard to find most days and nights. If he's actually sleeping, he's burrowed within his mattress or flat under some blankets.
He doesn't have guilt back, but just by the post-True Pacifist ending, Flowey will probably feel something indistinguishable about how he, uh. Treated Papyrus.

freshly redecorating the trailer with just him doing the decision-making isn't quite the same... maybe he'll leave notes around the trailer, so flowey can respond w/o being in a place to talk.

papyrus just has this special something, where nobody wants to hurt him. where they know... no matter what they do to him... he won't ever, ever blame them.

I think he'll reciprocate if he left notes around the trailer. and since flowey is asriel and asriel is flowey, a lot of it would be childishly invested """edgy""" decorations. it's p much my headcanon (and honestly, i think, intended to be canon) that the God of Hyperdeath is Flowey/Asriel's 'vision' of what's cool and menacing.
Almost all of his threats feel like classic RPG/anime dialogue (his attack names/"that attitude will serve you well in your next life!"/"Isn't that delicious? That determination, what brought you so far... it's gonna be your downfall!" "i've only been using a fraction of my REAL power") so I feel like Asriel is a chronic daydreamer about being the supercool badass character.

this is an ideal intersection of aesthetics. super sincere dramatic darkness & rainbow stars, plus the 'cool' boy stuff like flame carpets and pirate flags and action figures...
their trailer is gonna look like a couple 12 year olds had free reign to decorate however they wanted, and kept egging each other on to do more.
