A WILD CR MEME APPEARS↴ Given that it's been a while since our last CR/plotting meme, this seemed well overdue! This post is where you talk about what you are looking for in character relationships, and then respond to other people's posts to plot! You can be as long winded or as brief if you like - as long as you communicate what you are interested in doing. New to this post is a 'Collective Objectives' section, which will be a toplevel below. This is for coordinating events or efforts that you want the input/organization of multiple characters on, making a big group log, or developing something have broader ramifications for the Carnival moving forward. There is a form provided below for your convenience, but you don't have to fill everything out! I feel like Amethyst and Strange need cr just based on that alone. He put so many terrible things in his mouth on his quest to go bonkers and can certainly help out in the realm of ill advised dumb bullshit.

lauren would be very interested in this actually. though he'll side eye strange the entire time if there are any group meetings ever.

the one TEENY TINY problem with this is he actually can't teach anyone his own magic because basically sharing that knowledge with people who aren't druids is forbidden. so... he can't give anything back but he really wants to learn more about other worlds magicks so. yeah.

Seeing Childermass, even if that is just a blooper, that happy actually terrifies me.

He'll pay back those cigarettes later with interest. I personally love the role reversal (if I haven't said that enough) here given the whole Lord/servant thing that Tyki might never figure out. He hasn't really asked a lot about Childermass and what he use to do but he might have a newfound curiosity soon.

8I And he doesn't care how mad you are or aren't at him right now. He's gonna run into him given how much Tyki might lurk. He'll find him popping up everywhere, leaning against walls, taking naps outside his trailer. Well, that is when he isn't' isolating himself or peeling so many potatoes all drained at how booooring it is.

Hi, it's me again. He might need her assistance in the coming weeks seeing as his wings are permanent. Whether he's hiding them in his shirt or letting them hang out he might need a good tailor for basically all of his sets of clothes.

Tyki is going to be sick for a while but alcohol fixes a lot of things so he's definitely game even if he can't really get drunk. Also, he really appreciates this nice training grounds you've put up that make for perfect sleeping areas. It's great.

Yeah, Strange is also a big ol'dork who wants to learn about other world's magics so he feels ya, Lauren. he wouldn't side-eye Lauren for that 'can't teach people' aspect, just because some magic is dependent on certain conditions (ex, Rita having her blastia).

Alphys | (textsfromhotland) Canon: Undertale Carnival Role: Repairman/SFX Length of Stay: Since Greysol! Skills/Powers: Alphys is incredibly smart and a whiz with machines and computers! She has a little magic power what with being an Undertale monster and all, but she doesn't use it that much. It mostly manifests and little electric bolts she can shoot. She gained a nice set of strong, pangolin-like spines all over her body for her first change so she's a little physically tougher than she used to be. Routine: laffs. Alphys is kind of a night owl, so it's rare if you see her in the morning. She's also incredibly shy so she tends to keep her head down and rush from place to place to avoid talking to people. Current status in game: She's still very much trying to get her bearings here. Heartstone was her first introduction to Fae Bullshit(tm), and she's not entirely sure she likes it! But even if she COULD leave, she wouldn't, because that means going back to the trash fire her life was when she left. Any current or future plans: My longterm goals for her are to build up a little confidence and come to terms with What She Did, so when it's time to go home she'll be less likely to throw herself down the waterfall. She's also on board with Sans and Papyrus' goal of unfucking the Underground! IC Assistance: Alphys has a bad case of avoidance issues, so she might need some help coming out of her shell (literally now that she has spiky body armor) Desired CR: Anything and anyone, although I'd really love for people to come and drag her out of her comfort zone. Shipping Preferences: You can try if you want but i mean just look at this hot mess. Permissions/Opt Outs: Not for me, but for YOU: if it's not obvious by now, Alphys has some major depression, emotional issues, and even suicidal tendencies. if you'd rather not deal with all of her baggage, let me know! So obviously I love Strange & Five and definitely want them to continue their cr, buuut I also have Cole! who sort of explicitly doesn't know how to people and has a few people in canon help him through that human/social guide for how to do things. he's better at it now than he was at the start of canon, but he's still kind of bad at it. Five would be great for helping him figure out how to do things & make it so Cole understands "don't be a creepy mind-reader."

Considering that it's possible Cole's never actually icly been to a carnival, even just someone telling him the basic ropes of 'how things work' would be greatly appreciated.

and yeah, Syr's officially a Person Who Knows What's Up in Cole's mind, so he's just gonna bother the guy about everything. sorry, Commander.

Alphys is from the King Mettaton ending, so her first reaction to Flowey will most likely be a lot of screaming. They're going to be best friends

I guess I should also reply to this seriously in a way that isn't about feet wine. Sans is a fan of studying magic in general and finds the differences between magic in different universes very interesting, so he's down for all of this.

His specialties: Time/space based physics magic, both monster and fae varieties. He's also good at conjuring/summoning magical constructs. Also if you wanna HULK OUT and turn into a big ol' animal, he can give you some pro tips, because he got an affinity for bestial magic as part of a contract with the Ringmaster. That's how he summons his magical dogs

Would like to learn: Wards, mental defense, protection spells, and to experiment with his angelic magic since that's still pretty new.

Willing to teach: Sans has taught a few people how to do magical tricks. He taught joker how to make teleportation charms, and he's been schooling Lambert in the ways of turning into a big fuck-off monster. He's essentially got a PHD in magic and has been working in a lab setting since he was a teenager, and so he has a pretty scientific/mathematical approach to magic. He's not the best teacher but he certainly isn't the worst - his biggest issue is that he may or may not start nerding out about advance concepts his student won't understand.

Man he'll regret offering to help once he realizes what Strange has decided works best but Childermass really hates how everyone keeps getting messed up. If it'll help figure out a way to avoid it in the future, he'll do it, he'll just scowl a lot in between. Just... don't do anything you can't fix, Strange >:|X (or do, if it's hilarious, because rule of funny).

He's learning a lot about Strange lately. It's a good thing he doesn't stay mad for long. Also he was kind of cranky but he's not gonna apologize for that rough shoulder he gave him.

Hey, don't make him smooch you properly cause Tyki has a lot of talent in that area. Yet if he ever uses him as a test subject for that he'll tease like crazy. Just don't make that mind whammy too rough or he might react negatively to it.
