⇨ CR MEME!
TIME FOR A CR MEME↴![]() It's time for a CR MEME! For anyone unaware, this is where you talk about what you are looking for in character relationships, and then respond to other people's posts to plot! You can be as long winded or as brief if you like - as long as you communicate what you are interested in doing. Please post a top level for your characters below, using this form: CHARACTER NAME | ( ![]() Canon: (What canon are they from?) Carnival Role: (What is their job? Maybe your characters could be working together.) Length of Stay: (Are they new, a veteran, or somewhere in between?) Current status in game: (What they've been up to recently, their mental state, and any recent important events or developments.) Any current or future plans: (This could be things that you would like to happen, or ideas that you're currently working on. Where would you like to see your character go, or are you looking for suggestions? Is there something you'd like to do at the current carnival location?) IC Assistance: (Do you have any specific IC goals that your character needs help with? Does your character need help with their act? Do you need someone to fill a specific role in their life? Explain here.) Desired CR: (Are you most interested in seeking out positive or negative CR? Friends? Dates? New enemies? Be as specific as you can.) Shipping Preferences: (Yay or nay? Is roleplaying sexual content something you are interested in? Are you interested in one sided crushes? Let us know here.) Additional Comments: (Tagging speed? RP goals? Funny gifs? Anything else you'd like to address.) |
SANS THE SKELETON (THE WARDEN)
Canon: Undertale
Carnival Role: The Warden, aka the popo.
Length of Stay: Three years ish.
Current status in game: Sans is doing basically okay, at the moment. He's worked some stuff out with Papyrus, and even if there is still a lot unsaid the fact that he no longer has to try to avoid his only family is a plus. However, he is actively resentful (increasingly so) of the Ringmaster, and has been feeling more strongly about that ever since the Supervisors discovered that the carnival was still marked by their vampire assailants from months back. He is 100% sure she is going to get more people killed.
Any current or future plans: Not specifically. I'd like to do something to help get the security team solidified into more of a unit. So... a training log? An annoying meeting with Sans? What do you think?
IC Assistance: No thanks. Beside maybe helping him curb his terrible alcoholic tendencies.
Desired CR: I'm open to negative CR, but Sans is perfectly capable of making that without my help. I'd absolutely like for him to develop some particularly close relationships, though, since that's been something he's been working on for a while.
Shipping Preferences: Open to shipping, as much as Sans is able. Gender isn't an issue. He's dimly romantic and largely asexual, though.
Additional Comments: Also he will rek troublemakers.

maybe the annoying meeting can solidify into plans for later training

Sans basically considers Amethyst to be second in command, for the record. She better hope she can be as sterling of an example as he is.

IT'S ALL OVER

Honestly though it'd be interesting to do something more dynamic with these two. The trouble is that part of why they get along is because they both like to act super shallow and avoid emotional intimacy. Fuckles!
I do find it a bit difficult to turn out Sans nonsense without a straight-man sometimes though so I've been trying to think of something we could focus on.

Just gotta get the drama mills going when there is something appropriate happening. I mean, Sans has been opening up a little bit with his ~Feels~ recently, which... could potentially cause some drama? Since Amethyst is so anti feelings that way.
It's gotta be possible to have them be socially inept at each other in a more conflict causing way.
It's like, surprise, we are both extremely damaged people.

aka we need another dog log

Beyond that, looking at your own CR post... Sans might actually... fuss a little?? Very gently and briefly, but it's there. He wants to check out those crystals to make sure they aren't gunna hurt his skull structure or anything.
Also he's probably going to keep being deflective if he notices Papyrus asking about amnesia and stuff. Like. Don't worry about that stuff bro. Come on.
no subject
Oh nooooo by which I mean absolutely. They itch and ache but it's probably nothing to worry about, everybody gets changes and nothing bad happens right?? The fussing might create a feedback loop.
(side thought, do some drops get sent home early because their changes proved hazardous?)
He's got RESPONSIBILITIES brother. See, he's got a crown and everything. Sheesh.

Also lmfao at the fussing feedback loop. Thankfully Sans would be quick to give up after he's satisfied his immediate worries and, I guess, poked at the crystals a bit. None of his own changes were very difficult up until he became a werewolf, which was VERY difficult.
Sans honestly has no idea how to balance taking any responsibility for Papyrus, at this point. This is fucking bizarre and he doesn't know what's happening.

With all the dogs they lived next to, being a giant bone dog was the most difficult? Because it's painful/energy-exhausting to do, or because of him being a dingus trying to keep it secret?
....YEAH.......... they'll... work it out eventually.... maybe.
no subject
BOTH, REALLY. I've sort of been headcanoning that changes like that were sort of weird with Sans because his physical makeup was already so fragile, and just because he's made of mostly magic to begin with. It's like... you have all this fae magic jumping in there and changing things around? It seems like it might be more precarious with a being that isn't made of something as solid as flesh.
You can take or leave that so far as Papyrus is concerned. Sans has the excuse that he was sort of feeble to begin with. Changing into blaster mode and back takes a lot out of him.

Mostly because Sherlock will try to skip them
no subject
Well, okay, no, he won't be happy about it because he's not so fond of autonomous skeletons, but he needs to get over that, so HE WILL BE THERE.
no subject
if Sans catches wind of that he'll probably end up putting Simon through the wringer.

he probably deserves the wringer.no subject
