⇨ A NEW WORLD COMING (POLL)
SHE'S BACK!↴ The Ringmaster has returned, with some changes. The Red Beast aspect of her being has been fully awakened by the Huntsman's ministrations, meaning she now has some old Phoenix memories. She also retains all her memories of the carnival and recent events, though, and seems more grounded in the personality you've come to know her for than anything else. If there's one thing she's changed her mind on, however, it's the idea of running away. That obviously isn't working, and she feels that she'll never have back the freedom she wants for herself and the carnival unless she acts. After consuming the Huntsman and ending the battle in the Wyldlands, she will bring everyone back to what remains of the carnival dimension. Everyone's personal belongings and pets are still here, seemingly having been in stasis (and any living creatures will just be waking up as they arrive) but the landscape and structures have been obliterated and reduced to fundamental realm building blocks. She'll say she knew this would happen when she sent it away briefly before dying. It's a bit melancholy nonetheless. The moons are still here, importantly, and with little trouble the Ringmaster will collect the Blue Rose and Silver Mirror, which are now fully under control. The magical resonance between the three Miracles is very loud, especially for those already touched by them. With all of them in hand, and with the strength of the Huntsman still running through her veins, she'll make those present an offer. With all three Miracles, everything feels possible - and she is able to gift those that helped her with their power. But there are a few qualifications. THE QUEENS' MIRACLES↴ The Ringmaster currently has the unprecedented ability to bless 'mortal' souls with magical strength rivaling that of the High Fae. There are a few IC and OOC requirements for this to take place: 1) Your character must want it. She warns that receiving this power will permanently change them, and will forever alter their place in the multiverse. For all those who fit these qualifications, the Ringmaster will access the full power of the Miracles to ascend them to a new state of being. While they are being granted strength will all three Miracles, they will find themselves connect mainly to one of them. If they have already been Miracle Touched (Steven, Syrlya, Carly, sort of Rita) they will stick with the one they have, but otherwise you can pick. The details of each are as follows: (The Physical World) Housed within the Blue Rose, the power of Fire and Ice represents the raw elemental building blocks that make up the multiverse. All things made of energy and matter are created by the conflict between these two elements. At a base level, the power of the Blue Rose can be used as a force of shapeless raw power. At its most intricate, it represents the chemical and physical make up of almost everything that surrounds you. (The Spectrum of the Soul) Housed within the Silver Mirror, the power of Light and Shadow represents the power of the consciousness and spiritual law. The building blocks of what built each individual’s identity, the light and shadow is also what remains when the physical world has been peeled away. At a base level, the power of the Silver Mirror can manipulate emotions and spiritual energy. At its most intricate, it can define or twist the line between truth and deception. (The Beginning to the End) Housed within the Red Beast, the power Growth and Decay represent the power of changing states and the gain and loss of power. This energy guides every life from its creation until its death, allowing it to shift in form and to eventually spark new life in what is left behind. At a base level it can hasten the growth or decline of life forms. At its most intricate, it governs all physical and spiritual change, for the better or for the worse. While they will take a long time to master, your character will have access to potentially all aspects of the chosen Miracle's domain. This will not include any kind of unfortunate psychic connection (though those who already had that will keep it, if you want) and your character will be mentally and physical independent of the Miracle they are blessed with. Thus, the transformation can include aspects of the Miracle they have taken the power of, but it can also be more generally related to the concept, instead of having to be focused on Roses or Mirrors. Think of them as brand new, mini-Miracles! If they were already Touched prior to this, they will have some added potency as well as a deeper connection to the Miracle itself. When this happens, you can give your character any additional changes (including one Rare Change) you want, or swap out any old ones for new ones. Basically, you can start essentially from ground zero with changes or you can tweak the ones they already have to fit. Or you can do nothing and leave them as they are. That is also fine. Any who are not already immortal will become immortal, and their magic (especially when trained) will be able to compete with the average High Fae - though they'll have the advantage of having the full duality of an element, and thus no particular weaknesses. They will read as having Fae magic to other creatures, but not aligned to either Court, unless that is already part of their birth Right - AKA, much the way that Ignatius appears now. A FINAL TASK↴ Your character is allowed to come to confront the Winter Queen, even if they refuse/miss this opportunity. They can be given more temporary blessings to help them get by in the meantime. There will be one more event log dealing with the Winter Throne, but due to the power the carnival now has, accomplishing their task is not as challenging as the choice they make. The Ringmaster herself is unsure, and will follow the other’s guidance - she’s furious that Frost almost killed all of them, ostensibly on her orders, but at the same time... If your character is coming along, please reply to this poll with your IC/OOC opinion. If they are different, answer with whatever you'd rather see happen for the end of the game. I am fully prepared for both these things to happen, but there will be consequences for the choice made, so take care. I'll be proceeding with the final (non-epilogue) event in a couple days when the data is in. Poll #21419 THE WINTER QUEEN

View Answers We should try to get through to her and try to fix whatever her damage is. We should focus on making sure the threat is ended by destroying her. My character thinks that the Ringmaster should make the decision. |

Basically they'll just get some temp buffs to try to keep them safe but they won't be as helpful with the getting in part.
