Childermass is the same variety of English magician that Strange is, only he's more on par with the typical power level than Mr. OP Protaganist up there when you exclude the shadow magic that he's picked up during his time with the carnival. What he does have over Strange is a fairly decent knowledge of magic, magical theory, history (though only English, so yeah), laws, and so on, since he's the one who had access to the Hurtfew Abbey library (doesn't read much my ass, this man is a liar).
His focus is in shadows, stealth, illusion, tracking to a very small extent, and fortune telling. With fae magic, it's definitely all shadow, all the time, and while he's capable of shapeshifting, he's not sure he's the best one to teach that.
However, he's less willing to act as a teacher for magic. The most he might be willing to try with is teaching his general "don't look here" spell and possibly some shadow manipulation, but he won't be sharing how he manages his shadow-stepping. He could technically also teach people how to read tarot, only he can't impart the actual magical skill for accurate readings. It's not really a spell to be taught.
Also flying, since people seem to keep getting wings around here, but that ain't magic.
