HELL PLOTTING

PLOTTING IN HELL
This is a plotting post for everyone who is going to be participating in RESCUE MISSION: HELL! Below I'm going to make top levels for every section, so that people can announce that they plan on tagging into certain threads and to do other planning.

HAVE FUN!

This doesn't really fit in the above, but this is an option for people coming from the carnival side of things! Lambert spent the last two days prepping some anti-vampire shit, if characters are interested in availing themselves of it!

Vampire oil is what it says on the tin, a silver-infused tallow you can smear on whatever weapons you have to do that bit of extra damage even with non-silver weapons. It does need to be reapplied periodically to be effective, but maybe you can come up with additional ~creative~ uses.

Black Blood is a freaky witcher potion that will temporarily (~1 hr-ish) render your blood toxic to vampires! It won't kill them, but it can slow them down and damage them to make them easier to take down with weapons. Downside is, it's also pretty toxic! If your character is already advanced in their fae transformation, has a natural resistance to poisons, or is otherwise protected against their effects, they should be fine. Otherwise, they may experience one of the following delightful side effects upon ingestion:
* Excruciating pain! It won't kill you, but it'll suck for a bit, but at least it will also suck for anyone who bites you?
* It can trigger a common change or alter an existing one slightly, like changing the colors of markings, giving you additional horns, or what-have-you. Nothing crazy.
* Mental side-effects -- for duration of the potion's effect, some aspect of your character is heightened -- maybe their anger, paranoia or animalistic attributes? You decide.

Lemme know if you're interested so we can come up with some conceivable reason any of this got slapped into your character's hand, and also so I can keep track! Vampire oil he'd have a ton of but less of black blood.

This also doesn't really fit in all the above b/c it can deal with all sorts of people stuck in hell, but Strange can do scrying magic and will happily be offering to creep on any supervisor/captive/what have you.

This is creepy spying, not any sort of tracking magic. Basin gets filled up with water, spell gets cast, reflection of the person and what they're currently doing appears in the basin. It's not good for things like finding people, but it is good for things like checking on what conditions some of the supervisors/babyvamps are in before everybody goes charging in all Leeroy Jenkins. Scrying magic can be pretty imprecise so it can work or not work as needed. I'm 100% up for either handwaving or threading out 'and then Strange used magic to creep on a supervisor to see what they were like before the party got split' or 'well Character X knows that Character Y's a beat up vampire in the vampire playpen because creepy magic' as needed. As a note, he'll only be able to use the magic to see the people in hell while they're in hell: you can't check back on so and so at the carnival.

This also means that he'll be lugging around a footish width basin and probably has to make a tiny rainstorm every now and then to actually fill up the basin when he inevitably runs out of the water he'll bring along, look, english magic is respectable, not convenient.

Same as those above with not really fitting in anywhere. Castiel will be going to Hell and try to help out, but since he's newly arrived back, he's (and me) are not sure where he'd fit in. Plus, going to any sort of Hell with an angel along for the ride is like sending up a huge sparkler. He could serve as a sort of distraction to get the npcs to rush him and give others a little less incoming attack on them? Deal with the foot soldiers while others are going off to save the other Supervisors. Maybe with a small attack force with him or protect others who are there as backup, healers, weapon suppliers? Since this is my first event, I'm open to most anything and winging it on where he could fit in.
