1. Yes! They are still limited by how much brainpower they have left, but they can be swayed by other magical forces if it is persistent enough. It would seem more like they are spiritually weak than heavily enchanted.
2. It will be easier to make them do anything that isn't out of place for what they already do in the Celebration. Luring one of them to a different area would be easy, whereas trying to lure them back to the carnival would be very difficult. There don't seem to have any problems with answering questions, though they may not remember all the details if they've been here for a long time. Attacking the host, however, is pretty much out of the question. Long term denizens won't be massively interested in fighting in general.
3. It's all pretty damn magical, but the Hosts bodies themselves would probably seem THE MOST magical. Most of what gets done is done by the Host, by hand (physically or magically), so they are where the bulk of the power is.
