Gild will say that she can try to use her contract with him to pull him back in line, if necessary. Not many fae seem to have any idea how strong the pull will be, but given that the Huntsman relinquished control of them, it shouldn't be as bad as it was before.

Based on Moss's testimonies, it's mostly an awareness of what the Huntsman wants, and the urge or temptation to give it to him. It's not impossible to resist, though, once you have some separation. You just can't risk getting caught up in the Hunt again.
