⇨ WISMUTH: EVENT REWARDS

EVENT REWARDS!

The end of the event is drawing near, and while some key threads are still being resolved, the bulk of the plot's mysteries have been exposed in some form or another. This means it's time to talk about what will be happening as this event comes to a close - and in the case of this particular post, what your characters will be taking away from it!

Theses are what will linger after the final megathread finishes, when the power of Creation leaves the new Guardians, its job completed. If they receive a Boon, they will have an instinctual knowledge of this fact.

EVENT KEEPSAKES
A keepsake is a narrative advantage or plot boon, based on what your character did during a plot. In this case, it will be nebulous affects on the soul, determined by what team they were playing for. These are mostly roleplay affects and don't translate to new powers without the expenditure of activity points.

► ALL STAR GUARDIANS
Everyone who served as a Star Guardian will gain this aspect. If desired, it can be reflected by a slight brightening of their soul colour, though this is not necessary.
  • CREATION TOUCHED: Your connection to Creation has left a mark on your soul,
    and may be sensed by future NPCs or used a plot hook in the future. This will also give your character a slight magical propensity for spells involving concept related to creation, such as conjuring, abundance, life and positive emotions.

► ALL HARBINGERS OF VOID
Everyone who served as a Harbinger will gain this aspect. If desired, it can be reflected by a slight darkening of their soul colour, though this is not necessary.
  • VOID TOUCHED: Your connection to Void has left a mark on your soul, and may be sensed by future NPCs or used a plot hook in the future. This will also give your character a slight magical propensity for spells involving concept related to the void, such as destruction, reduction, absence, and negative emotions.

ACTIVITY REWARDS
These rewards are for the players we've observed to go above and beyond when it comes to event activity, or who played their roles in particularly inventive or engaging ways. They have been chosen by a combination of doing rough comment counts, and by considering the context in which those tags occurred. Those who have selected will be listed alongside each reward.

► MAGICAL GIRL BONUS REWARDS
Star Guardians or Harbingers that put an extra effort into getting themselves out there will be allowed to choose one of the following rewards. You can't have both. These have been chosen by weighing a combination of overall activity, effect on the plot, and participation in events.
  • SIMPLE SPELL: Your character can retain a free simple spell related to their magical girl powers, and will be able to level it up to Complex for 30 pts instead of the 50 pts it would be usually. This power must be related to their Spark, and can represent either their Guardian or Harbinger form.
  • RARE CHANGE: Your character can develop a Rare Change either immediately or over the next month, due to their high exposure to Creation and the Void. It doesn't have to be related to their Spark, but it can be.
QUALIFIERS: Cole, Lambert, 9S, Rita, Steven, Carly, Papyrus, Childermass, Shima.

► BYSTANDERS PARTICIPATION REWARDS
Even if your character wasn't a magical girl, their contributions and involvement were important, and have been noticed by Creation. Bystanders with notable or unique involvement in the plot may choose one of the following rewards to take.
  • CREATION'S BOON: Creation has noticed your presence in events, despite the fact that it never lent you its power. In return, it has left its mark on you, in the form of a gift. Creation's Boon is a flexible, plot-focused favour from the very essence of existence that can be called upon at a time of your choosing. Its effects will depend on the situation, but ultimately you will be calling to Creation for its aid, and it will come.
  • RARE CHANGE: Your character can develop a Rare Change either immediately or over the next month, due to their high exposure to Creation and the Void. It doesn't have to be related to their Spark, but it can be.
QUALIFIERS: Tyki, Foster, Peridot, Joker, Strange, Gon.

► GRATEFUL GUARDIAN REWARD
Before the Carnival departs Wismuth, some characters who went out of their way to render assistance to Noa will receive a small token of her thanks.
  • FROG CHARMS: There's nothing inherently magical about these handmade cloth charms themselves, but a bit of Wismuth's peculiar energy lingers about them... for whatever reason, holding it in your hand seems to have a slightly calming effect. Maybe it's the gentle tinkle of the bell attached to it.
QUALIFIERS: Yuya, Gon, Cole, Tamaki, Alphys, Jinx

► OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION REWARDS
This is the ward for a special winner who was so incredibly present during this event that I got tired of counting their tags and gave up! Thank you for taking the initiative and helping this event to be a success. This character will receive both of the following rewards:
  • SIMPLE SPELL: Your character can retain a free simple spell related to their magical girl powers, and will be able to level it up to Complex for 30 pts instead of the 50 pts it would be usually. This power must be related to their Spark, and can represent either their Guardian or Harbinger form.

After hemming and hawing endlessly about it: Lambert will be taking a simple spell that works along the lines of Freedom of Movement.

Basically, Lambert can make himself or anyone he touches able to move normally even if they're under physical or magical effects that affects their body and would restrain their movements. They'll manage to evade attempts to grapple them. The effect lasts for ten minutes.
