► EXPLANATION: As the "genius mage of Aspio," Rita's known throughout her world for her scholarly pursuits, and she's always used her knowledge to improve people's lives, even when she was kind of a grumpy hermit.
In a world under threat by a swarm of otherworldly monsters that consume life, Rita plans to use her magic knowledge to transform both her beloved blastia and the encroaching monsters into spirits, giving them new life while also protecting the existing life in her world. Her work won't end there, either. Once the world has been saved, she intends to begin research into new technology that will help society recover and thrive, as well as researching spirits and learning how to coexist with them in the future.
► FAMILIAR: Francis, her Litten.
► POWER: Rita's main weapon will be a large magic book. In combat, the pages can act as portals from which weapons or elemental magic can be drawn.
The book also contains knowledge. When Rita observes magic and other phenomena, the information she views will be recorded in the book in as much detail as she observed it in. She can use her book, combined with her magic perception, to try and read enemy skills to figure out how they work and how they may be dispelled or countered in the future.
The text in the book appears as incomprehensible runes to anyone but Rita, but any person who touches a page of the book while focusing may telepathically learn some portion of that knowledge, and may also record something they know about in the same manner. Any number of pages may be removed without depleting the book.
