SAAAAAAAAAAANS!! OOOF!

So being around for as long as she has been, it's hard not to let the past affect the Present. She knew Sans far longer before he was Warden-so it's his actions before being Warden that coloured her views most. Admittedly, that also means that Carly just...straight up lost track of what Sans was up to, leading to what was once at least an assumption based in fact something that became vastly 'outdated'.

Becoming a Supervisor certainly didn't change that, but being in Wardrobe of course also meant that, well. She didn't really have to interact with him a lot. All she could say is that there's a reason he's Warden, and well, he definitely SEEMS to have some stuff up his sleeve, so deferring to him is probably fine for this trip to a big fancy manor right?

The battle at the manor has definitely set things up for...A very solid shake to that reality for her. That, and what preceded it. First there's the conversation in angelic-during which she would have at the very least recognized Sans' voice.

Then Sans and Julien, one of her staff, is missing. Then Julien is a servant at the ball, and Sans ends up battling Lambert. It's not hard to connect dots, especially since Julien's mindset was one that enabled him to spill a LOT of painful details about where he was, and what had been happening to him-to them, a them that includes Sans.

She might not have enjoyed his methods after all, but it's hard not to get amusement out of his jokes, it's hard not to laugh, it's VERY hard not to come to enjoy that side of someone when you're a giant goober yourself, so in the middle of all of this, Sans had basically been 'that guy who seems kinda lazy and really needs to try enjoying things more, but gosh he makes some good jokes!'

Now she's faced with a much bigger reality, and honestly she feels like she needs to apologize or something lmfao. 'A Much Cooler Dude Than She Thought' is a badge she needs to make.

That or she just needs to make him the raddest hoodie on the face of the earth. All signs point to that, but she definitely wants to get to know her fellow Supervisor a little more now.
