Oh she's aces in Strange's book. Scout's got a good head on her shoulders, she's smart, she's capable, she knows how to stay out of trouble, and she'll gladly join in on joking around or giving people some shit if they deserve it. Strange definitely considers Scout to be a good coworker and a valuable member of the team.

Of course, they haven't had as many sad backstory conversations compared to other members of the carnival...and honestly, Strange is kind of okay with that? Scout comes off as someone who tries very hard and wants to be seen a certain way and then here comes Jonathan Strange, captain of the hot mess express who showed up to the carnival literally crazy. He knows that if they ever get into the nitty gritty of some of his history, it's just going to be Scout saying "you did WHAT" at various intervals, so Strange is perfectly fine keeping this friendship at a surface level!
