It's a little confusing because they had the most interactions in Portland where they were pretty different! Iuliael felt like being protective of Sans because psychopomps ain't really built for knock-down drag out fights, to the point of not actually being passive in that fight, while also being convinced that a much more functional angel only holds this failure of a seraph in contempt.

If confronted over the manor debacle he'd accept blame. Julien won't wriggle out of his role, he kind of balances "I didn't know any of that would happen, all my choices seemed sound at the time" and "but this still happened" and is quietly of frustrated that he did try and Sans was still caught anyway and even more shitty things happened as a result. He'd be happier if condemnation fell on, y'know, the Prince, but he still had a role and still feels bad.

He does also hate confrontation but he feels like he should at least say something about this, later. Things sucked and he's sorry.

...still doesn't like the dogs though. Well. One of the dogs. :/
