Call All Supervisors!
We are updating the character jobs info page and need your help!
If you play a supervisor we need:
There's no due date, but if you dawdle I will hunt you down, so beware! >:]
EDIT FROM QUIX: If you can't make a pic 250 x 250 yourself I can resize it - just make sure it's big enough to be cropped to those dimensions!
If you play a supervisor we need:
- A picture of your character.
- Please crop it to be 250 x 250 if you have the ability to do so.
- A short paragraph describing how your character functions in their role.
- No longer than 700 words please!

EDIT: oh right, paragraph!
> Despite his seemingly carefree and bubbly attitude, Joker is probably one of the most qualified people in the carnival to act as Stage Manager having been a ringleader once himself. In contrast to what people might think, he regularly keeps those under his wings practicing hard although he at least allows a short "adjustment period" for new workers to the carnival. People who try to skimp are cheerfully hunted down to be dragged back. Not satisfied with only those the Ringmaster has assigned to him, however, Joker is known for convincing workers in other areas to giving showtime a shot. It helps that he has a wealth of circus skills he's always glad to pass onto others: knife throwing, tightrope walking, aerial silks, and various other miscellaneous talents accumulated over the years. During practices in the big top, it's just as probable to see Joker practicing with his performers as anything.

It's no exaggeration to say that, being literally made to perform this kind of work, Peridot is beyond qualified to meet all of the carnival's tech and mechanical needs. Unfortunately for her underlings, her leadership skills are nowhere close to the same level. Peridot desperately wants to ensure that she's the coolest and most impressive boss on the block, and that her team is aware of how great and likable she is as a person! Alas, her efforts to this end are occasionally undercut by the fact that she's still kind of figuring how to interact with organics in a polite and respectful manner, without being patronizing and overly demanding. But hey, as long as you get your work done quickly and efficiently while also providing top notch quality results, and you're always at work on time, and never call out sick, or goof off, and you never ever make any mistakes ever, and you don't mind that she's not very understanding or sympathetic to the limitations of the organic body, you shouldn't have anything to worry about!

"Gilgamesh, as Treasurer, makes it his business to know everybody else's business at all times, particularly their finances (but most especially the juicy details of their personal lives, which he enjoys butting into). He has a reputation for serving as the Ringmaster's lapdog and obeys her desires above all else, save for his own. His management style is stern, unrelenting, and more than occasionally sadistic depending upon his mood; it is not uncommon to see his workers struggling on the job due to his rigorous standards. He acts swiftly and doles out punishments the same way. Those toiling beneath him are among the most unfortunate members of the Carnival—he delights in causing suffering and will often pull pranks to this effect, in spite of or often because of the harm it will do to others. All in all an unpleasant person, with worrisome tendencies, questionable motivations, and a habit of holding grudges. Nobody quite knows what happened to the man that came before him, as Gilgamesh will only smile and cite a tragic accident..."

Zecora is the Doctor here
Her skill keeps health and wellness near.
Come to her and she will use
Her magic and her zebra brews.
Despite her powers, which are great
She'll also treat your mental state.
Calm and patient, smart and wise
A strong soul in a zebra guise.
But you'll notice if you watch her work
That her speech has a particular quirk...
(Come on, it has to be a rhyme. :D )

>Koel is a cook with 40 years of experience working as a chef for various families, and tends to run the Cookhouse much in that like. You work, you cook, she oversees what you do though she does a good share of the main menus for workers. She is efficient, but firm, sometimes almost motherly or even grandmotherly (even if you don't necessarily work under her). While it can be hard working for her, its not impossible and there's always room for her workers to improve themselves. Depending on the world, the menu will be adjusted to reflect what people might need to better work in that world. She also oversees the vending food, going around often to ensure everything is up to her standards and people aren't mucking up the quality. Of course, she's also well-versed in cooking less-than-mainstream items for people with specialized, decidedly inhuman tastes - as she herself is a "humanitarian" - and unlike her predecessor, won't make a fuss if someone asks if she can cook something up from that.
