Protection is a wide category, you know. As for other types...illusions. I'm rubbish at illusions and also enthrallments.

Sounds like I should be assigning these for study to you.

Considering you also can't do that magic, it would be interesting to see what you try to pass off as coursework.

[ he's also joking. maybe. ]

I can do illusions. [ just in a limited capacity, okay. ] I'd figure something out for the rest, though I suppose this makes it your turn again.

[ as he once again assumes Childermass picks truth. ]

What sort of magic do you wish you knew or were better at?

[atouts]

Offensive. I prefer to avoid fights, so that magic doesn't come as easily to me. Apart from that wind spell I picked up as a Harbinger, anyway.

You know, all you have to do is say the word and I'll work with you to help craft something more offensive.

[ said as Strange summons a fireball to his hand. yeah, he knows that Childermass won't take towards fire, but it's just him trying to prove a point. ]

I know, but I think what I need is target practice instead.

I can still help with that. I'm working out a shield spell. You aim for me, I'll see how long I can keep the shield up, we both win.

That sounds fair to me, though perhaps another time. I'm still figuring out the difference between knocking someone over and knocking someone's head over.
