Peridot eyes him up from a distance before making her move. Whump. She lands on the back of his head. Her wings are also probably in his face quite a bit. Their span is more than large enough to get all the way around there. ]

[ well. that's a thing. Childermass doesn't move much when Peridot hits his head and clings on, a wing flopping across his face. there are a few seconds where he still doesn't move but he does, eventually, ask, ]

[ probably muffled some by wing slapped over his face but hey. ]

[periphrasing]

[ She already sounds kind of remorseful about this decision. Please don't lose more respect for her than you already have, Childermass, she begs of you. ]

[ considering the game, he's just glad it wasn't something worse. ]

[He can pull, but she's not coming off. Not that easily. Her claws are all tangled up in there. Her feet are hooked into the hair at the back of his head, and it'll tug when he tries to lift her.]

Can't you just... unclasp your claws? [ do bats have claws? he thinks so. ] Just a little.

[periphrasing]

I'm not clasping them! Bah, here-- [ she shuffles around a bit. ] Try it now?

[ okay, he's just going to yank her out now, losing a few strands be damned. ]

[periphrasing]

[ Congrats Childermass, you're holding a sheepish looking bat now. There's some dark colored hair still stuck in her claws.

She blinks at him and grins weakly.]
