"I thought it was a normal carnival," Yoshiko fusses back, crossing her arms over her chest in a hmmph. "But since strange ladies turn into frogs, it's obvious this place is weirder than I thought!"

Or, Yoshiko's hallucinating. But if she was hallucinating, she'd hallucinate something much cooler than a screaming frog lady (screaming lady frog?). Though hey, if the lady frog knows about this weird carnival place...it can't hurt to ask.
