The man is not a loud person by any means-nor a particularly...emotional one, as much as shock ha raised his voice. But minute clenching and the subtle way he has backed right off are tells all the same, and she brings herself to silence-slowly making an 'o' sort of expression before slowly bringing her hands to her face. "Ohhhhhh...ohhhh you're after my time, just like before..." With Jack. With Crow, especially, (HOO! that had not gone well, good thing she had white and rainbow colours these days...) But anyway.

"Ah-hmmm..." She coughs, taking a more serious tone. "It's alright, I promise, ok? I'm just working here right now, and faerie magic affects how you look after a while, ahehehhh...."
