Dandelion, at least, interprets the teasing as good humor, mostly because that's what a good chunk of the teasing at him actually is.

"Well I'm using them now, aren't I? Surely that counts as picking them up."

Turning back to the dart board, he takes careful aim, throws the dart...and is visibly relieved when it actually hits the board, about halfway through the outer ring and the center. See? All he needed was a bit more practice!

And he turns to look at Renfew with a triumphant little 'ha ha, I totally did it' grin.
