The Carnival might be empty and her job made even more superfluous than anyone's (except perhaps the performers themselves), but Tanyuu has more reason than just escaping the cold to return here. There are plants to be tended, medicines to be made, and incense to be set out--just in case. Portland hadn't left too many Mushi about, but Ginko is still in this realm rather than 'next door'.

Tanyuu is in the process of setting up a small brazier of incense near the cookhouse when Frisk draws near, and she doesn't notice the child's presence right away. Haruki, her Cutiefly, does, and chirps before zipping over to dart around Frisk curiously. Tanyuu blinks and looks over, her antennae twitching when she notices the clearly lost child.
