So he takes aim a second time--this time at a green balloon, which bobbles loosely from its nail. Honestly, all of the balloons are kind of depressing. Tempting, half-filled sacs of brightly-coloured disappointment.

Like a reverse firing squad or something.

Machi throws again, clipping the balloon's rubbery side. But it doesn't actually pop it--it just sort of flops a bit in mockery as the dully pointed dart tip sinks into the wall.
