however, in practice? the first few minutes were an uneventful sort of confusing, but now he swears he can see things moving in the background. never if he looks too close, or straight at them; but every time he turns, out of the corner of his eye? it's the 'realest' manifestation of his problems he's ever encountered, and it puts him more on edge than he can ever recall being.
