I've found that either will suffice, though it has most often proven simpler to introduce myself as Lancer. [You try teaching a hundred people from as many different worlds how to pronounce Diarmuid Ua Duibhne.] It is a more effective stage name, and given the recent turnaround it is just as likely to be the only one our fellow workers remember me by.
