Her hesitation does catch his attention, for just a moment. Greg's not able to place exactly what just happened, but for just a moment he feels out of place. He finds himself looking around for his son.

"Yeah, he's been living it up. We weren't planning on a day out like this, but it's been a nice surprise. This sorta magic junk is what he's all about." Greg less so, but hey! This magic is so much more friendly and accessible than normal.

He lifts his wallet, smiling sheepishly. "I was hoping for a few bucks?"
