YEAH THIS IS A LITTLE BIT HARDER.... OK disclaimer: Peridot does not dislike Carly. BUT. They’re definitely not close… I think this is probably because Carly sometimes annoys her, in the sense that they actually have some similarities? Personality wise? Mostly because Carly seems to have NO CHILL, and people have occasionally lumped Peridot in that same category with her, which is something she resents (even though it’s at least a little bit true). The kind of frantic energy that Carly has sometimes puts Peridot right off, because she just sees it as raw, impractical emotion. The net result is she doesn’t have a ton of respect for Carly? Which, OBVIOUSLY, isn’t really fair of her, but that’s just how Peri do sometimes. She doesn’t DISrespect her, mind. She just doesn’t put her on the same level as the other supervisors or the RM.
