SURPRISINGLY LITTLE this is probably mostly because Yuya didn't know Portland Lambert very well.
Lambert's on Yuya's list of "adults he really shouldn't trust but, unfortunately, does". Not "tell him about my deep secrets" level of trust, but "got my back" trust and "let's go on an adventure with no consideration for our own safety we'll be Fine" trust. Lambert's rough and rugged, but Yuya does get the impression some of it's bravado--especially after that conversation with Celedine.
He really sees Lambert more as Lambert, and not as Nightrider or a co-worker. He kind of has to remember when there's an actual issue that 'oh, yeah, that's his job'. Even if he teases Yuya a lot, Yuya likes just spending time with him and being friendly and not even talking shop (granted, what are an acrobat and a mercenary going to talk shop about anyway).
Also Lambert is totally the kind of person to enable his reckless shit instead of talking him down, and even if talking him down is the better thing to do u bet he likes that validation for his stupid impulses.
