Cool. Julien always has to have his bird body... uh... existent. He can stick his smaller self into his inventory through a portal on his bird self, but he can't do vice versa. If the rest of him is getting a room, he won't complain out loud or look too upset about getting stabled. He heard the stakes and went "well... okay, I'll behave. Think positive. This'll be fun!"

...if he doesn't like his roommate he'd be very tempted to just stow his human body before curfew each night but he'd ask about if that was okay. That would be a terrible reason to make a misstep if it wasn't.
