I am going to say... yes, somewhat. Normally only very small children have really young-looking dæmons and otherwise kids' only show babyish forms when, say, they're making puppy dog eyes at someone or are feeling very sad.

Reira's delayed sense of self can mean her dæmon usually looks notably young, though I mean like fledgeling bird with some down on and a wide beak more than naked hatchling bird. It could also be very clingy and vocal about her needs, as the dæmons of small children are, but that kind of thing could just as easily be a personality trait, and I don't want to dictate those.
