Taako is going to be a demon who retains his original memories. His demonic form features large wings and horns; his "human" visage is identical to his elven form, but without the pointed ears and teeth.
He and Axel had some kind of affair until he was chased off. He's going to seek out anyone he knows and is friendly with in his circus memories, and will end up meeting with Zim, a changeling with half and half memories. The two of them will try to figure out what's going on, and likely will seek out other people they remember from the carnival.
As a demon, he arrived on earth at a demon lord's command; when he lost contact with that lord, he basically shrugged it off and went about stealing, killing, fucking, and generally being a huge shitlord of a demon.
