Could be a dude who's down for stockpiling souls in an attempt to reverse the Severing, so his lackeys make deals with in his place, middle-man style, but he holds all the contracts. Something like that? Or if you had a different idea, hence the comment change, I can roll with whatever you have in mind! o/
