Shima is going to be a DEMON named RENZO (just using his first name over calling him his last name all the time, no big change there) of the hellfire, super-strength, and mind control variety. He probably has horns, pointy ears, fangs, claws, a tail, the funky red eyes that he hides with sunglasses all the time, that whole shebang. He's pretty old, despite maintaining a really young appearance (he looks more 18 than 16 here, but still, not a big change), and has been bumming it around Earth even before the severing (apart from the times he had to drag souls down to hell and such).
That also means he's moderately loaded (rich but not so rich that people side-eye it too hard), thanks to a series of investments, loot he's stored up to sell for rainy days. The current story is he's a rich jerk kid with too much access to his trust fund and he's gone straight from high school into buying up a nightclub (he's actually owned it for awhile, it's just recently he wanted to show up publically as the owner).
The club is CROSSROADS and it's definitely set up in the sprawling basement of a warehouse with very dubious licenses and likely a huge bribe annually to the fire inspectors. Windows do exist but are blacked out, so it is undead friendly (and has blood on tap if you know how to ask). In fact, it's also very supernatural friendly, but please no mortal/normal killing on site. No one wants to deal with the cops, guys. Don't worry about being under 18/21, either, because it's run by a demon, why would he care?
NOW THE REAL PROBLEM IS, HE HAS FULL MEMORIES OF HIS REAL LIFE, NOT THIS ONE.
He remembers none of his life as a demon.
He also has no intentions of trying to fix this problem, because his surprise new life kind of rocks? Or at least seems to at first. Problem is, Yamantaka, his demon summon, also exists in this world, but as a big black bull ghost that will start stalking him and trying to guilt him into doing something. Oops. :') Also, for all he knows, he has enemies or people who are going to turn on him once it's too obvious he has no idea what he's doing here.
SO CR POSSIBILITIES:
- he's your boss, you work at Crossroads in one way or another - you just go to Crossroads as a patron, whatever - you are part of the good guys who would like to see a shady place like Crossroads get shut down because it's owned by a demon/full of freaks - you're someone from his past, a friend, an ally, an enemy, an ex or current girlfriend somehow - someone he's mind-controlled in the past and out for revenge - maybe you bum around the fairly nice apartment he lives in over the club sometimes, like he doesn't care, just don't break or steal his stuff (not that he actually remembers all the shit he even owns and there is a ton of old/weird crap up there, seriously) - a warlock who relies on him for power? that's also cool - someone else with full memories or who begins to remember and realizes Shima's being a huge asshole by not sharing with the class - spot the wrathful ghost following him around and ask him about that hahaha hah ha ha what ghost what are you talking about IGNORE IT
