YEAH makes sense. They probably have kind of a weird relationship then, because if Steven had the chance to SEE here there, but not doing anything to help him, he really wouldn't know what she thought of him or if she cared about him at all. He would have felt pretty betrayed at the time even if logically he knew she wouldn't be able to fight the Queen anymore than he could.

So, seeing her AFTER he's escaped would definitely be complicated.
