Well, she's still working as RQ's servant so I feel like she would have been commanded to do so if RQ wanted it that bad and Pearl would do a lot to please her, especially a few years ago. Also, she could always try to make herself feel better by saying things like "well I didn't ACTUALLY kidnap him...so it's not my fault." IDK.

Plus, I figure if she was ordered to do something she wouldn't be tempted to bust him out if she ever saw him miserable. "Not my business" kind of thing and she probably kept her distance to save her own feelings/not get attached.
