1. No. As mentioned above, the world is not inventing new people to fill int he blanks. It could be a vampire sort of like Moriarty but not Moriarty himself.

2. Talking head is fine, but exploding the head would pretty much be game over. Sort of zombie movie rules, that way. And yeah, they can replace body parts, but they have to be already articulated.
