[Peridot is not responsible for the design of the games in the circle. They significantly pre-date her time here, and ever since one of them wound up getting her stuck with her first contract here, she tries to have as little to do with them as possible. She doesn't play them, she doesn't try to improve them, she just fixes them when the need calls for it.

Still, she has her pride, so when she hears anyone impugning the engineering of anything in the carnival, she gets a little defensive about it. So Zim gets a grumpy comment from the green girl fussing with the motor on one of the other nearby shooting gallery games:]
