Some of them aren't human, some were. I think you'll find a fascinating mix of characters in there but it looks like these changes are frequent enough to be an up front caution.

I haven't seen too many miserable people in there, though. They all seem helpful and healthy at the moment. Apparently, the world hopping can get interesting and more than a little dangerous but the Sanctuary, all we have built, that's worth it to me.
