Even the Ringmaster isn't 100% sure what happened, but the idea was that the Hell Fight was supposed to end with people having the change to spot Mari winking and disappearing as the Ringmaster drags everyone out or something. Not clear enough to go back while the realm is falling apart, but enough to be like "wtf?"
At any rate, Ringmaster is going to be directly asking them to do it, and they can figure out the logistics. Alolans are used to tourists, so just asking about it is fine (though Ultra Beasts are more of a niche subject so you may confuse a lot of people with that one.)
Boats can be rented no problem. You can also rent a Lapras to ride around if you like Pokemon. Travel is easy, the oceans are chill most of the time and it doesn't take that long to make it between islands.
