[Donnie didn't have much money left and good sense told him he ought to keep it. Thinking he might be able to pawn something else he reaches into the pocket of his hoodie and pulls out a small book - The Philosophy of Time Travel.
He takes a look at the book and mulls it over before deciding to hand over the money after all. All things considered, the book might be more useful here.]
Mirror Maze //
[Instead of actually trying to solve the maze, Donnie is strolling leisurely through, taking a deep look into each and every mirror. He's not entirely sure he wants to make contact with Frank here, but his ghastly rabbit guide seemed to know a lot more about multiverses than he did.
Catching a glimpse of a dark figure out of the corner of his eye, he turns to face them - only to find nothing but empty hallway and more mirrors.]

Trying to Leaf //
[Donnie feels more at home in this forest than he should. It reminded him of his sleepwalking dreams, although this time he was fairly sure he was awake. He half-expected to wake up passed out on somebody's front lawn again, but this was too vivid to be a dream.
He stopped to admire some of the glowing flowers. The scenery was nice, at least, and however frightening it might be it was at least somewhat less frightening than being stuck in a doomed timeline.]
