Binding them with silver would be effective since they would have a hard time breaking it and the pain would be very distracting, but it wouldn't sap their powers the same way it would with a fae. Vampires are vulnerable to silver, but it isn't the fell fledged Kryptonite effect that iron has on fae.

It would mostly burn their flesh - the older the vampire, the more the silver seems to hurt. The trick is that you still have to be able to hit them with it, which is challenging because they are so fast.

(And, you can bet that all of these vampires are going to be using iron weapons.)
